Vincent McAlister is an ex officio member of the IFDC Board of Directors. He serves as secretary to the board and is IFDC's legal counsel.
McAlister has been the counsel of record for IFDC since its inception in 1974. He is an attorney with the firm of Almon, McAlister, Baccus and Worsham LLC in Tuscumbia, Alabama (United States). McAlister was admitted to the Bar in Alabama and also to the U.S. Supreme Court. He holds an LL.M (Master of Laws) degree from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. He earned his J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, and the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. McAlister earned a bachelor of arts degree from Birmingham Southern College, Alabama.
