Cotton growers in Burkina Faso signed an agreement to provide Victoria’s Secret with organic seed cotton. To help the growers ensure proper handling, USAID WACIP provided locally fabricated cotton sacks and wrapping materials and trained 2,886 farmers in 2007-08 and 4,000 in 2008-09. The USAID WACIP project is implemented by IFDC.
