IFDC Launches Virtual Fertilizer Research Center
Feb. 23, 2010 – MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – IFDC is launching the Virtual Fertilizer Research Center (VFRC), a global research initiative to create the next generation of fertilizers and production technologies, with initial financial support provided by the U.S. Agency for International Development. New and improved fertilizers are critical elements in the effort to help feed the world’s growing population, provide sustainable global food security and protect the environment.

The Economic Community of the Great Lakes Countries (CEPGL) and IFDC’s CATALIST Project Sign MOU to Support Agricultural Intensification and Provide Environmental Stability
Feb. 3, 2010 – KIGALI, Rwanda – Ambassador Gabriel Toyi, Executive Secretary of the Economic Community of the Great Lakes Region (CEPGL), and Dr. Henk Breman, Chief of Party of IFDC’s CATALIST project, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at CATALIST’s Kiyovu office in Kigali, Rwanda.
