Rice Yields Falling Under Global Warming
Climate change may be the cause of decreasing rice yields, according to a new study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). Data was collected from six rice-producing countries, including China, India, Thailand and Vietnam. The study found that warmer nights led to a drop in rice yields.
